Place the 9 cm potted cuttings directly outdoors in a sunny spot, keep them lightly watered and protect them from frost and slugs its recommended to keep off the ground while small.

Don't forget to feed your dahlias, deadhead and live-head cut to the next set of levers and offer support e.g. a bamboo poll.
